Audi A5 Engine ECU Fault light

In the workshop this week we were presented with yet another Audi A5 2.7 TDI  suffering from Exhaust Gas Recirculation “A” Flow faults. Our skilled technicians very quickly diagnosed the problem to be the EGR valve. We are an independent Audi specialist in Bournemouth and we can provide our local customers with a fast and cost effective solution.

Our aim to fix this common issue and get you back on the road as quickly as possible.

In order to repair this fault we must first gain access to the EGR valve. The valve is situated in the V underneath the engine cover. There is approximately 4 hours work in order to gain access, see picture.

As you can see from the picture the valve is located in a complex area of the engine. We strongly advised that this work is carried out by fully trained and qualified technicians.
We have many years of experience and expertise with this fault. Your vehicle couldn’t be in safer hands than when its with our team.
As well as replacing the component we ensure no foreign body debris will enter the inlet valves or engine and all components including the inlet manifold are cleaned thoroughly.
